Eligibility of the Applicants

This course is designed to provide a general introduction into ocean and sea governance related to the Caspian Sea. The focus of this course is on the marine environmental issues and challenges present around the Caspian Sea with a discussion on the potential opportunities and solutions to be developed in addressing these problems.

• Understand the unique nature of the Caspian Sea as a common world heritage and the need for its protection, preservation, and restoration of its marine environment

• Learn and understand the current policies relating to the Caspian Sea and the need for future policy developments
