आईओआई ओशन एकेडमी मुख्यालय @माल्टा, इंटरनेशनल मैरीटाइम मैनेजमेंट एंड कंसल्टेंसी (आईएमएमसी) िसंगापुर और आईओआई िसंगापुर (फोकल प्वाइंट) की छत्रछाया और तत्वावधान में, आभासी मंच पर महासागर साक्षरता प्रिशक्षण कायर्क्रम उन सभी इच्छुक व्यिक्तयों के िलए खुला है जो अपने ज्ञान को समृद्ध करना चाहते हैं। महासागर, हमारे जीवन और आजीिवका के स्रोत के बारे में आधािरत जानकारी। 20 घंटे के 2026 महासागर साक्षरता प्रिशक्षण पाठ्यक्रम का पहला सत्र 10 मॉड्यूल में िवभािजत है और प्रत्येक दो (2) घंटे की अविध 30 जून 2026 - 12 जुलाई 2026 तक शुरू होगी जैसा िक पाठ्यक्रम अनुसूची नोट्स में प्रकािशत िकया गया है। 

नए िदलचस्प िवषय "पृथ्वी के जलवायु पिरवतर्न पर महासागर की भूिमका 

संकट का कारण और हमारे जीवन पर प्रभाव, महासागर की भूिमका: काबर्न-िसंक से समाधान तक" और अद्यतन ऐड-ऑन (add-on) के साथ उन्नत, महासागर साक्षरता प्रिशक्षण कायर्क्रम हमारे प्रतीक के रूप में हमारे महासागर के बारे में एक अच्छी समझ स्थािपत करेगा।

महासागर का प्रबंधन, इसके समृद्ध संसाधन, हमारे महासागर की सुंदरता और आशीवार्द और हमारी भलाई के िलए योगदान। पाठ्यक्रम में महासागर को एक जीिवत इकाई के रूप में, इसकी जैव-िविवधता, समुद्री पयार्वरण, िस्थरता की अवधारणा और समुद्र से संबंिधत गितिविधयों, व्यावसाियक उद्यमों और पयार्वरणीय िशिपंग (environmental shipping) के िलए नीली अथर्व्यवस्था (blue econmomy) के अनुप्रयोग पर भी चचार् की जाएगी। सतत िवकास, िरयो+20 और संयुक्त राष्ट्र सतत िवकास लक्ष्य (यूएन एसडीजी) 2030 का संिक्षप्त पिरचय। समुद्री पयार्वरण सिहत प्लािस्टक प्रदूषण संिध पर पेिरस में नवीनतम घटनाओं पर नई पेश की गई िदलचस्प सामग्री को अपडेट के िलए शािमल िकया गया है।

Under the umbrella and auspices of IOI Ocean Academy, International Maritime Management and Consultancy (IMMC) Singapore and IOI Singapore Focal Point, the ocean literacy module is open to all interested individuals who want to enrich their knowledge based information about the Ocean, Our Source of Life and Livelihood. 

Enhanced with new interesting topic “The Role of the Ocean on Earth’s Climate Change: Cause of the Crisis and Effect on Our Life; The role of the ocean: from carbon-sink to solution” and updated add-ons, the Ocean Literacy Training Program will establish a good understanding about our ocean as a symbol of our lifeline, management of our sustainable relationship ocean, its rich resources, beauty and blessings of our ocean and contributions towards our well-being. The course will also discuss on ocean as a living entity, its bio-diversity, marine environment, concept of sustainability and application of blue economy for the ocean related activities, business ventures and environmental shipping. A brief introduction of sustainable development, Rio+20 and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) 2030. Newly introduced interesting content on the latest happenings at Paris on the Plastic Pollution Treaty including Marine Environment has been included for updates.
