விண்ணப்பதாரர்களின் தகுதி

கடலோர, பெருங்கடல், துருவப் மற்றும் இமாலய பகுதிகள்  நிகழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கும் காலநிலை மாற்றம், மற்றும் மனிதர்கள் மீதான அதன்  தாக்கம் பற்றி தெரிந்து கொள்ள ஆர்வம் உள்ளவர்கள்

உலகளவில் தற்போதைய சவால்களின் மையமாக உள்ளது பெருங்கடலும் பனிக்கோளமும். இது காலநிலை மாற்றம் மற்றும் கடல் மட்ட உயர்வில் தொடங்கி உணவு பற்றாக்குறை, பேரிடர் அபாயங்கள் மற்றும் புவிசார் அரசியல் மாற்றங்கள் வரை நீள்கிறது. இந்தியாவில் இந்த அமைப்புகள் குறித்த அறிவியல் புரிதல் கணிசமாக முன்னேறியிருந்தாலும், தேசிய மற்றும் சர்வதேச அளவுகளில், பெருங்கடல்கள் மற்றும் துருவப் பகுதிகளில் நிலவும் சிக்கல்களைத் தீர்க்க, அறிவியல், கொள்கை மற்றும் சமூகம் ஆகியவற்றை ஒருங்கிணைத்து செய்யப்படுதல் இன்றும் ஒரு சவாலான பணியாகவே உள்ளது.

 இந்தியா நீண்ட கடற்கரை கொண்ட நாடு, அதனால் கடல் மட்ட உயர்வு மற்றும் காலநிலை மாற்றம் நேரடியாக மனிதர்களையும் சூழல் மண்டலத்தையும் பாதிக்கிறது. மேலும், ஆர்டிக், அண்டார்டிக் மற்றும்  இந்திய இமயமலைப் பகுதிகளில் நடைபெறும் ஆராய்ச்சிகளில் இந்தியா அதிகமாக ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறது; இது உலகளாவிய காலநிலை மாறுபாடுகளைப் புரிந்து கொள்ள உதவுகிறது.

அதே நேரத்தில், இந்தியாவின் சுற்றுச்சூழல், மழைக்காலத்தின்மீதும்  மற்றும் உறைபனி அமைப்புகளின்மீதும் அதிகமாக சார்ந்துள்ளது. தமிழ்நாடு கேரளா போன்ற கடலோர பகுதிகள் காலநிலை மாற்றத்தால் ஏற்படும் பேரிடர்களை அதிகளவில் 2015 முதல் சந்தித்து வருகிறது. இந்நிலையில், ஆர்டிக், அண்டார்டிக் மற்றும் இமயமலைப் பகுதிகளில் ஏற்படும் மாற்றங்கள் இந்தியாவின் காலநிலை, நீர்வழிகள் மற்றும் நீண்டகால உத்திசார் நலன்களில் நேரடித் மற்றும் மறைமுக தாக்கங்களை ஏற்படுத்துகின்றன.

ஆகையால், சர்வதேச பெருங்கடல் நிறுவனம் (International Ocean institute), கடல் கல்விக்கழகம் (Ocean Academy) மற்றும் உலகளாவிய கடல் மற்றும் பனிக்கோள முன்முயற்சி (Global Ocean and Cryosphere Initiative) ஆகியவை இணைந்து, காலநிலை மாற்றம், பெருங்கடல்கள் மற்றும் பனிக்கோளம் ஆகிவற்றால் இந்தியாவில் ஏற்படும் தாக்கங்களை பற்றி விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தவும், மாணவர்கள் உயர்கல்விக்காகப் பெருங்கடல் மற்றும் துருவப் பகுதி சார்ந்த துறைகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க ஊக்குவிக்கவும், இந்த இணையவழி பயிற்சியை ஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ளது. 

•  உலகளாவிய பெருங்கடல் மற்றும் பனிக்கோள் பற்றிய வாதங்களில் இந்தியாவின் கண்ணோட்டத்தை கொண்டு சேர்த்தல்;
• எதிர்கால ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் மற்றும் கொள்கை வகுப்பாளர்களின் திறன்களை வளர்த்தல்;
• இந்தியாவின் காலநிலை மாற்றம், திடீர் வெள்ளப்பெருக்கு  மற்றும் கடல் மாசுபாடு போன்ற கடினமான சவால்களும் அதன் தாக்கத்தையும் எளிமையான முறையில் புரிந்து கொள்ளுதல்.

இந்த பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள் தமிழும் கடினமான கலைச்சொற்களுக்கு ஆங்கிலமும் பயன்படுத்தி 20 மணிநேரம் இணைய வழி வகுப்புகளாக நடத்தப்படும். தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட அனைவருக்கும் இப்பயிற்சி வகுப்பு இலவசம்.

The ocean and cryosphere are at the centre of contemporary global challenges. This starts from climate change and sea-level rise to food security, disaster risks, and geopolitical shifts. While scientific understanding of these systems has advanced significantly in India, there remains a critical gap in bridging science, policy, and society at the national and international level. 

India, with its extensive coastline, growing engagement in polar research, and dependence on monsoon and cryosphere-linked systems, is uniquely positioned within this discourse. Coastal regions such as Tamil Nadu and Kerala are increasingly experiencing climate-induced hazards since 2015, while changes in the Arctic, Antarctic, and Himalayas have direct implications for India’s climate, water systems, and long-term strategic interests.

In this context, the International Ocean Institute, Ocean Academy  and the Global Ocean & Cryosphere Initiative (GOCI) will organise online training for Tamil speaking participants from India who are interested in climate change, oceans and cryosphere. The programme aims:

• Conveying India's perspective on the global ocean and ice sheet;
• Building capacities of future researchers and policymakers;
• To understand India's difficult challenges such as climate change, flash floods and marine pollution and their impact in a simple way.

அதிகபட்ச வருகை (80% மற்றும் அதற்கு மேல்) மற்றும் மதிப்பீட்டை நிறைவு செய்வதன்  அடிப்படையில், பங்கேற்புச் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்படும்.

Certification

Participation certificate will be provided upon maximum attendance (80 % and above) and completion of assessment. 

பெருங்கடல் பற்றியும் அதன் மூலம் நமக்கு கிடைக்கும் பொருட்கள், சேவைகள் பற்றியும் பெருங்கடலுக்கு ஏற்பட இருக்கும் அச்சுறுத்தல் பற்றியும் கற்றுக்கொண்டு, பெருங்கடலுடன் ஒரு நிலையான முறையில் எப்படி வாழவேண்டும் என்பதையும் கற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.

•  கடல்சார் நிர்வாகத்திற்கும், நிலையான மற்றும் சமமான மனித பயன்பாட்டிற்கும் இடையே இருக்கும் ஒற்றுமை, மனிதகுலத்தின் பொதுவான பாரம்பரிய கொள்கைகளை பயன்படுத்துதல், வருங்கால சந்ததியினரின் தேவைகள் ஆகிய அனைத்தையும் பற்றி புரிந்துகொள்ளுதல்;
• கடல்சார் நிர்வாகத்திற்கும், நிலையான மற்றும் சமமான மனித பயன்பாட்டிற்கும் இடையே இருக்கும் ஒற்றுமை, மனிதகுலத்தின் பொதுவான பாரம்பரிய கொள்கைகளை பயன்படுத்துதல், வருங்கால சந்ததியினரின் தேவைகள் ஆகிய அனைத்தையும் பற்றி புரிந்துகொள்ளுதல்;
•  உள்ளூரிலும் உலகளவிலும் கடல்சார் பிரச்சனைகளில் உள்ள போக்குகள், எதிர்கால சவால்கள் மற்றும் எந்த பிரச்சனைகளுக்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்பதை கண்டறிதல்;
• கடலோர பகுதிகளில்  உள்ள ஆபத்துகளின் நிலை மற்றும் சமூக பாதிப்புத் தன்மைகளைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளுதல்;
• முன் எச்சரிக்கை செய்யும் தளங்களைப் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வும் அதை எப்படி பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்ற தெளிவையும் பெறுதல்;
• துருவப் பகுதிகள் மற்றும் இமயமலைப் பகுதிகளில் ஏற்படும் காலநிலை மாற்றத்தின் தாக்கத்தைப் புரிந்து கொள்ளுதல்;
• கடல்சார் அறிவியல் மற்றும் அதன் கொள்கைத் துறையில் உள்ள வேலை வாய்ப்புகள் மற்றும் அதில் உள்ள தொழில் பாதைகளைக் கண்டறிதல்.

• Understanding the similarities between maritime governance and sustainable and equitable human use, the application of common traditional principles of humanity, and the needs of future generations;
• To identify trends, future challenges and issues to prioritize, both locally and globally;
• Understand the status of hazards and social vulnerabilities in coastal areas;
• Gaining awareness of early warning sites and clarity on how to use them;
• - To understand the impact of climate change on the polar regions and the Himalayas;
• To explore employment opportunities and career paths in the field of ocean science and its policy.
