THIRTEEN MODULES COMPLETED IN MAY AND JUNE

The IOI Ocean Academy Directors successfully delivered 13 Ocean Literacy modules to a global audience, reaching more than 500 participants in 13 different languages. This achievement reflects the commitment to making ocean knowledge accessible and inclusive for diverse communities worldwide.

 

Five of the modules were delivered by recently established nodes, an important step in expanding the Academy’s international network and strengthening engagement in regions that had not previously been involved. Through these modules, participants gained valuable insights into ocean science, sustainability, and stewardship, contributing to the growing global movement for ocean literacy. Read more here.
