IOI and the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), of PR China, extend the MOU with the State Oceanic Administration on the Promotion and Deepening of Marine Cooperation, and the hosting of the IOI China Training Centre in Tianjin.

The IOI and the University of Malta have officially extended their partnership, signing an Addendum to their agreement on October 29th. This extension ensures the continuation of the joint IOI-UM Training Programme on Regional Ocean Governance for the Mediterranean, Black, Baltic and Caspian Seas, held annually since 2005 at the Msida Campus of the University of Malta in Malta.

The agreement provides a framework of cooperation to achieve the shared goals and objectives of UNEP and IOI.
